Inspired by Indian wood block prints this exotic pattern is painted in a pale cream colour on a madder red background and strongly outlined in black. Reminiscent of henna tattoos or carved wood the design is both geometric and floral. It has had a thorough distressing with shallow cracks and rubbing back revealing the bare plaster beneath.
